Chris Le grew up in San Jose. He attended Luther Burbank Middle School, Del Mar High School, and graduated from San Jose State University in Business Management.
His career spans many years in government service. First with the County of Santa Clara as an account clerk, and as a Tax Representative with the State Board of Equalization. In 2008, Chris became an Investigator/Collector with the Finance Department of City of San Jose. In 2011, Chris worked as a Tax Auditor in the Revenue Department for the City of Oakland.
As a long time resident of San Jose, Chris Le always had an interest in community service. Since the very young age while still attending Luther Burbank Middle School, Chris often attended monthly community meeting in the library at his school. As a teenager, he was frequently the youngest member at the meeting discussing issues that concerned the community.
Chris Le is running for San Jose City Council District 7 to represent the voice of the community. Many of the challenges remained to be solved and we need a leader who can tap into our region innovation spirit and our inventiveness capability to address these challenges.
Chris Le brings to the City Council decades of government experience and the spirit of community service that can best serve the residents of District 7.
